Milos Nikolic, Program Director for Friends of Milton Crew, had this to say “Today was a great day for Milton crew. We should be proud of all the hard work that our rowers did this season. The fall season has been a great stepping stone for the 2014 spring season. I expect to have even better results in the spring. The goal is to send at least one boat to the National Championships in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. We want to go there and fight for a medal. Who could tell that we would be in this position just 2 short years ago… Dedication, Determination and Discipline are the core values of our team. A big thank you to our coaching staff and parents. Without your continuous and dedicated support our program would never be where it is right now.”

Congrats to all the rowers who participated in yesterday’s South Shore Invitational. The weather was not exactly our friend; but it was a good day. Hats of to Hingham. You can find a gallery of photos here.

The Friends of Milton Crew mourn the passing of Judge George Hurd and extend their condolences to his family and many, many friends.
Judge Hurd was a tremendous fan, supporter and benefactor of Milton Crew. His infectious enthusiasm and passion for the sport of rowing never flagged. We will be forever grateful for his generosity.
Judge Hurd was an intelligent, sincere, and gracious man and he will be terribly missed.
